I have been through GRB airport a number of times. A variety of reasons lead me there, but they will remain largely confidential. I’ll cover the basics, including security and food. Then I’ll give my conclusions on the place overall.
Security
TSA here is even smaller than at the Appleton airport. Luckily they seem to be sensible here. You can keep electronics in your bags, but the belts only take up some of the counter space. In other words, you put your trays on a regular counter and have to shove them along. Annoying, but this checkpoint rarely takes more than thirty minutes.
However. There are two separate terminals, with separate security and no ability to move between the two once you’re through. Know which gate you’re going to go to, before you get into either tsa line.
Food
There is only one food place at the green bay airport. Its a small bakery/deli/smoothie store with some decent seating. The coffee is good, so I’d recommend that if you get anything. The baked goods are pretty good as well, and you can’t go wrong with them either.
Conclusion
Clearly, there isn’t much to discuss regarding the Austin Straubel Airport in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Still, keep my tips in mind if you’re ever going through the place. And let me know if there’s anything else people need to know!
