Empire Builder: Riding Amtrak from Montana to Wisconsin in Comfort

Instead of flying home from a Montana funeral, I burned Amtrak points on the Empire Builder. Coffee stops, scenic detours with my parents, spacious coach, a cozy roomette, and shockingly good steak and buttercake found me along the way.
