It took about four United Airlines flights to get from Green Bay, WI to Columbus, OH and back again. These were largely forgettable flights, but I will at least mention them.

GRB to ORD

I’ve actually taken the first flight a number of times. There’s never any service, given it’s only about 30-45 minutes from takeoff to landing. The plane is tightly packed, as per usual when it comes to literally every flight. I can’t recall whether my bag was checked, but it’s usually 50/50 when flying with the luggage I use. Nothing particularly notable.

ORD to CMH

It was this flight, if I recall correctly, where I placed my bag into a small side closet (container? shelf?). It fit perfectly, thank goodness. This is another flight without service, but these short flights don’t really need anything like that anyway. Upon landing, it took the plane what felt like an extremely long time to let us off. I imagine Columbus is relatively busy, as this is usually the case for short flights as well.

Conclusion

Look, it’s two United Airlines flights that barely make up an hour including takeoff and landing. Nap, or read, or something. You’ll be back on the tarmac before you know it- even if you’re delayed.
